These images were stitched together from multiple aerial photographs in order to capture the scale of the property. They were then post-processed in Adobe Lightroom.

Orthomosaic

Orthomosaics are high-resolution top-down reference images created by stitching together hundreds of aerial photographs.

The resulting image has a resolution of one inch per pixel. For reference, Google Earth satellite view has a resolution of around three meters per pixel.

The orthomosaic for these buildings and surrounding land represents approximately 50 acres and is over 100mb in file size.

Google Earth Vs Drone Brigade's Real-Time Capture

Google Earth

When you need directions, Google is the way to go. When you need accurate, detailed overhead shots of your site, Google will let you down every time, as seen above.

Drone Brigade's Real-Time Capture

With real-time orthomosaics, your property will be represented as it looks today, not five years ago. This is especially important for new construction and development. In addition, reference files from Drone Brigade have a resolution 120 times more detailed than Google Earth.

3D/VR Site Model

Drone Brigade's 3D/VR site models can be viewed using VR goggles or a computer. Using goggles, you can sit down with a prospect and walk them through a dozen properties using virtual reality, without even leaving the room.

Learn how Drone Brigade Creates Orthomosaics and 3D/VR site Models

2723_shotlist.jpg

In order to create the orthomosaic and 3D/VR models of the site, nearly 1,000 photographs are captured from the air, along with precise altitude, angle and location data.

Each blue dot in this map represents an aerial photograph.

Once the images are reviewed and anomalies removed, the remaining files are parsed by an array of powerful computers for 5-10 hours, ultimately resulting in the models that you see above.

The 3D/VR model alone consists of 4 million faces and 2 million vertices.
